Courses - How does it work?

From time to time teachers working for VEF will organize courses on different topics. You can sign up for each one of them if you're interested in learning more about horses. Before they start, you will see a list of topics that will be discussed, so you can make sure if the course is suitable for you or not.

Every course consists of a few lessons. The number depends on the teacher and the complexity of chosen topics. They will take place in a live chat, so all students will be able to communicate with the teacher all the time. They can ask questions or answer them to get additional points that will count to final grade.

The length of the course is decided on by the teacher. Lessons can't be longer than 40 minutes. There can be a few lessons in one day or one lesson per day for one week. That is also completely up to the teacher offering the course.

If for some reason you will not be able to show up on the lesson, you will be provided with learning materials. The teacher is responsible for sending them per e-mail after every class.

Every lesson should end with a short test of 5 to 10 questions. Whole course ends with an exam of 10-20 questions about things which were discussed on all classes. The results on those will decide about the final grade that you will get as a participant of the course. If it's positive, you will be given a special diploma confirming that you took part in the course and you passed it. If it's negative, you can pay an additional fee and get another chance to write the last test.
